Guide to Registration and Recording Peer Reviews in WOS ResearcherID WOS ResearcherID is a dedicated service that enables researchers to maintain a comprehensive record of their research and peer review activities within the renowned Web of Science (WOS) database, thereby enhancing their visibility within the global scientific community. By logging your peer reviews in this platform, the total number of your reviews is systematically recorded and displayed, categorized by journal title. Given that consolidating publications, peer review records, and other scholarly activities in this database significantly elevates a researcher’s academic and professional profile, we kindly request our esteemed reviewers to follow the steps outlined below to register their peer reviews for this journal in the WOS database: 1. Registration on Web of Science (for unregistered researchers): Please visit this link (https://www.webofscience.com) to access the registration page and complete the sign-up process. 2. Obtaining a Researcher ID: Upon successful registration and completion of your profile, you will become a member of the WOS ResearcherID network and be assigned a unique Researcher ID. A confirmation of your registration will also be sent to you via email. 3. Automatic Review Transfer (if applicable): In the peer review systems of certain journals, reviewers are prompted with the question, “Would you like your review to be automatically added to your WOS ResearcherID?”. By selecting “Yes,” the completed review is automatically transferred to the WOS database. 4. Manual Review Transfer (Standard Method): As the automatic transfer feature is not currently enabled in the submission systems of many journals (including this one), you can easily add your review record by forwarding the journal’s “Thank You” email—received upon completion of your review—directly to reviews@webofscience.com. 5. Final Verification: Once your email is received and processed by the platform, the review record will be added to the verified reviews section of your WOS ResearcherID account. The total number of verified reviews, along with the journal’s name, will subsequently be displayed on your profile. 6. Endorsing the Journal: Another feature of this platform is the ability to endorse preferred journals on WOS. To do this, simply log in to your personal profile, search for the journal’s title, and endorse it.
